Sarai, before we jump into specific questions about your business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Having started my career in hospitality very young, I was always very fascinated by the execution of every event. The florals, beautiful linens, illuminating lights and creative details always caught my eye. I knew then that I wanted to create the same experience for others.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Things have definitely not been easy. When you are pursuing your passion there are a lot of obstacles you face. There is always negativity and nay sayers but you have to push forward. I went from having an event once every couple months to having multiple events to decorate within the same day! In anything you do I believe you have to be diligent. The Wedding and Events industry is very competitive, but I believe that finding ways to be innovative and creative will really set you apart. Thinking outside the box always pays off and will leave your guest wanting more.

Necessary Luxury Decor is a decoration company that specializes in planning, detailing and executing beautiful events. My plan for the future is to continue to build relationships with our clients. Their trust and support mean the world to us. We just want to provide a phenomenal experience that fits into any budget.
