So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a Fashion Designer and Seamstress, I ran into a lot of women that was either inspired to sew because of the clothes I wore or they wanted me to make something for them. As a result of the constant inquiries and requests for sewing lessons, I created a YouTube channel and started a custom apparel business. I researched both avenues but did not find a clear path of my true calling until I started running my own company. I learned that I love interacting with clients and creating their vision from nothing but pure inspiration either in photos or their memory.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road thus far has not been rocky at all. My clients have been phenomenal. If my clients have a specific desire, then I go out of my way to meet their needs. I communicate with them often about progress as well. This is a result of doing lots of research before embarking on my journey. I learned a lot by watching other businesses in my field and avoiding their mistakes they shared with me. I ask lots of questions and continue to research ways to improve my skills often.

Sewphisticated Teacher creates women’s apparel for casual and formal wear. We are offer custom designs for the woman thinking outside of the box with the clothes she wears and exudes freedom in her personality. Our specialty is customer service and standing out in a crowd. We pride ourselves on bringing luxury and drip to the modern woman.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our future is looking bright. There is no stopping a brand that has not reached the top just yet. We plan to expand our garments into a full line of inspiring fashion for all. The emphasis here is on inspiring because we want women to see each other and compliment their style when they see them in our garments, albeit verbally or subliminally.
