Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Taor.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sharon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always had animals growing and 10 years ago my husband gave me my dog Alli for my wedding gift! Alli has been a huge part of our lives and has traveled the world with us…we have lived in three different countries so far.

Two years ago my dog was sick and we took her to the vet and the outcome was not good! Alli had cancer…both my husband and I were devastated. We decided to change her diet ASAP and wanted to give her the best quality of food we could buy. This search for good food led me to a Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming closest to my neighborhood.

Immediately once I walked into the store I was amazed. The quality of food, treats, toys and grooming salon was top notch! I left the store that day thinking wow I would love to have a store like that!

So I convinced my husband we need to take this leap and build a store in our own neighborhood. We started this adventure December 2016 and I am happy to say we opened our very own Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Richmond in August 2017!

Side note my dog did 8 rounds of chemo and Is doing wonderful! She loves her new store and all the yummy treats and food!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like all new businesses, there are obstacles and challenges! Finding the right location is key and I was determined to make sure I researched the ideal location for my new business. I looked at several locations before securing the final one. It took us about three months to finalize the location but it was worth it. My customers are amazing and the entire Richmond community has welcomed woof Gang Bakery with open arms.

We treat your pet to a fun-filled spa day with special spa treatments like a pawdicure and blueberry facials along with full service grooms, mini grooms and bath specials!

What I am most proud of as a company is how we have changed the direction of good quality food at a affordable price!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Even though I have only been open for a couple months I am already thinking of what I can add to my store to make it a one stop shop for all pet owners…I can’t give away my ideas just yet but I am sure we will be moving into the future with some awesome great add on services!
