Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn Eaglin.
Shawn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in political science; and started my career path as an Intern with the one and only Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, as well as Ops Mgr. with an African-American law firm located in Downtown, Houston. After 15 years’ experience in the field of Operations, I decided to take a Leap of Faith by obtaining my License in Real Estate. After speaking with many women like myself who were intentionally carving out their lane in Life unapologetically; Mogul On the Move was created. I have juggled both my Real Estate along with my Political Clients. During a 2018 trip with friends to hear the former First Lady, Michelle Obama, I joined forces with my business partner and founded: Mogul On the Move Medicinal. Our mission was to Educate, Empower & provide women who managed demanding schedules both in the workplace as well as personal life with natural CBD products. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Deciding to go full-time in the real estate industry was challenging for the first year and a half. It was during this time I learned the importance of building one’s personal brand. Discipline and Sacrifice was necessary.

As a real estate agent, I have dealt with new homebuyers as well as sold million-dollar home. But what sets me apart is that educating the client is my #1 Priority. My last political client was Lieutenant Geneane Hughes, who is the former candidate for this year for Fort Bend County. Our opponent campaigned for two years prior to us entering the race three months before election. We lost the runoff but only 44 votes which was unprecedented with such late entry. My business partner and I have proven that women can endure differences of opinions, start-up struggles as well as a pandemic; and still build a business! Mogul On The Move medicinal provides wellness products and an alternative treatment for anxiety, stress and pain.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The hard times in my life have humbled me as well as allotted me time for planning vision. The good times have allow me the chance to be a blessing to others by sharing information in order to empower and motivate!
