Today we’d like to introduce you to Shiva Sadegh.
Hi Shiva, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a woman of the world, having called three different countries my home. I finally bought my own home and settled in Texas 6 years ago which then ignited my passion for helping others do the same. I am bilingual with a living experience of different cultures and a love for meeting people and forming lasting relationships. These qualities made me well-suited to pursue a career in the Real Estate business.
I became an agent two years ago and there has been no looking back since. I thoroughly enjoy my work and possess an unmatched devotion to my clients, working tirelessly on their behalf, striving to learn more about the industry and always offering them candid advice. I prioritize honesty and transparency because I believe that’s my winning ticket and represents who I am. I utilize the latest technologies to aid my clients and am supported by a team of experts who share my attention to detail and passion for perfection. And so my clients are guaranteed an enjoyable experience and superior results.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like any other path, my career has had challenges too. There can be a lot of hiccups in each transaction but that’s when thinking outside the box and problem-solving skills come handy. One of the common challenges in this profession is getting final approval from lenders. So I have carefully selected experienced and honest lenders to work with and even sometimes get advise from to overcome that.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I have always been a people person and therefore cannot imagine myself working in an office. Being sociable and passionate about helping others have helped me to realize that being a real estate agent is very satisfying for me. While I was evaluating these options, I came across Kiani (my broker) in a fundraising project and was very drawn to her leadership skill. Later I learned that Kiani has been the top producer in Houston for two years. Bingo, I said to myself, that’s what I want to do and Kiani is who I’d like to work with.
I can easily start a conversation with people and that’s not because it’s a work requirement but rather because I enjoy getting to know others and making friends. I have built connections with a team of experts which enables me to provide the top quality service to my clients. I have had the honor of representing lots of wonderful clients, some of which are repeat clients. I prioritize honesty and transparency because I believe that’s always my winning ticket. Every day, I strive to learn more about the industry to be more successful in helping my clients achieve their real estate goals.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My husband, my daughters, and friends who were supportive and motivated me to start my business. Also, my broker Kiani Komeizi, who started mentoring and encouraging me selflessly. Although Kiani didn’t have her own brokerage back when I was in the process of getting my real estate license, she never hesitated to guide me.
