Meet Stacy Ike

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Ike.

Stacy wanted to get into journalism as a child, but didn’t know exactly what that would or could look like as a career. Her family and friends referred her to Mizzou because of their widely-recognized journalism program. After attending Mizzou, she realized that she loved the art of journalism, but not in the traditional sense. She wanted to create her own space in the field, where she could fully express her passions. Stacy moved to Los Angeles after studying journalism at the University of Missouri to pursue television hosting and acting.

With her move to Los Angeles came opportunities and the realization that she could live out her passion and purpose while building a collaborative career with other like-minded creatives. Stacy recently took on the position as the first live show host of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). As the host of OWN Tonight, a late-night show, Stacy interviewed cast members from the hit-drama Greenleaf along with other celebrity fans.

From there she went on to host the pre-show for the hit TV show Empire, along with working with companies such as Warner Brothers, Hollywood Reporter, and AT&T to name a few. Stacy is the founder of Fight For Your Fairytale, a brand inspiring and encouraging other creatives to believe in themselves wholeheartedly and to continually grow past their fears to be the best version of themselves. She often says, “Each moment I decide to be myself, I give someone else permission to do the same thing.”

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
Stacy doesn’t believe in luck but in preparation and grace. With hard work and God’s grace, which brings amazing opportunities in her life, she is able to thrive and build a fulfilling career.

Stacy is known for producing original content, television hosting, acting and creating a platform for like-minded dreamers through her brand, “Fight for Your Fairytale.” She is most proud of her ability to identify when to elevate and make a pivot, whether it is expanding her team, collaborating or taking a step back to grow her business.

What sets Stacy apart in the way she approaches ideas and business, is the undeniable drive to honor her God-given purpose and to identify that she is not here to serve herself, but to serve others. Her passion for inspiring other creatives to live out their fairytale has touched more than 15,000 dreamers and counting.
