Meet Stacy Manzano of Oh My Jane in South

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Manzano.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Stacy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started with a well-known clothing DS company in June of 2016 and created a Facebook group that now runs 3.3K members. It has taken a LOT of hard work, a LOT of mistakes and a lot of reading and personal growth. I now have 2 friends that work with me to help me build the business along with other dreams we have!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The first 6 or 7 months, it was difficult making sales and was a very discouraging time for me. My uplines were NO help so I learned a lot of what I know through trial and error. One day, in December, I worked a vendor event that should have made me big sales and it was going to determine whether I quit or kept going. Well, it bombed. I invested 9 hours just to make $60 and NO potential clients. I told my husband that night I was sending everything back and calling it quits.

That same night, I also questioned God and expressed my concern. He had given me this opportunity to join the company and I didn’t understand why I was “failing”. I told him I needed him to give me hope because I had lost it all. I had faith in him and in who I was, but needed hope. A couple of days later I had a private popup that I had already committed to so I went through with it even though I knew I was quitting. It’s a good thing I did it! I sold the most at that party then I have ever sold anywhere! It gave me the hope I needed to keep pushing through and NOT quit!

I ended up making Top seller out of 22 other consultants for the months of Feb, Mar, Apr. and May! I enjoyed it so much but felt capped. I couldn’t help other women like I wanted to or sell things the way I wanted to, so I started my own women’s clothing boutique. We have helped other women and families this last year from full-blown mother’s day makeovers, to Thanksgiving day meals and other giveaways. I have learned so much about business AND myself in the last 1 1/2 years so if I can use my story to help others, my troubles won’t be in vain!

Oh, My Jane – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Oh, My Jane is a women’s clothing boutique. We specialize in women’s modest, comfortable and affordable fashion! We are known for our excellent customer service and our giving heart. I am most proud of having help that has caught on to Oh My Jane’s vision and gives of themselves so selflessly as well!

I am sincere about encouraging and empowering ALL women of any shape, size or background. I don’t look to make a sale but rather a connection and relationship.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
It’s being able to lead those around me. Considering I grew up a timid and shy person, taking charge was never my forte.
