Hi Steph , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m a Houston girl who started with nothing but a vision and a whole lot of determination. There weren’t many resources or shortcuts where I came from, so I had to figure things out on my own—learning, failing, and trying again until something finally stuck.
What began as a small beauty hustle turned into something much bigger over time. Long nights, early mornings, and a commitment to getting better every single day helped me build my brand from the ground up. I stayed consistent even when things felt slow, and I kept pushing even when people didn’t always see the vision.
Now, my beauty business is growing and opening doors I once only dreamed about. But no matter how far I go, I stay grounded. I remember where I came from, and I carry that with me in everything I do. Being humble isn’t just part of my story—it’s what keeps me focused, grateful, and hungry for more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The beauty industry is competitive, and there were times when it felt like I had to work twice as hard just to be seen. Building a name for myself from the ground up came with challenges—limited resources, slow periods, self-doubt, and figuring out how to stand out in a saturated market.
There were moments I questioned if it was all worth it, especially when growth didn’t happen overnight. Not everyone supports you in the beginning, and that can be tough. I also had to learn how to balance being creative with running a business, which isn’t always easy.
But through it all, I stayed loyal to myself and authentic in everything I did. I didn’t try to follow every trend or be someone I’m not. I focused on my craft, treated people right, and stayed consistent. That’s what helped me push through the challenges and keep moving forward.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a beauty entrepreneur specializing in lip enhancements, lash extensions, and professional makeup and hairstyling for events and special occasions. I’ve worked hard to develop my skills across multiple areas of the beauty industry so I can offer my clients a full, high-quality experience all in one place.
I’m especially known for my lip work and attention to detail—making sure every client leaves feeling confident, comfortable, and still like themselves, just elevated. Whether it’s a natural look or something more glam, I focus on enhancing beauty, not overpowering it.
I’m also proud to have launched my own cosmetic line, which has been a huge milestone for me. Turning my vision into actual products people can use and love is something I don’t take lightly. It represents all the hard work, creativity, and persistence I’ve put into my journey.
What really sets me apart is my authenticity and the way I connect with my clients. I stay true to who I am, I don’t cut corners, and I genuinely care about the people I work with. My goal has always been to build not just a business, but a brand people trust and feel good supporting.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on my journey is the importance of adapting and never stopping learning. The beauty industry is always evolving—new techniques, trends, and services are constantly emerging—so staying open to growth is key.
I’ve learned that you can’t get too comfortable. You have to keep investing in yourself, whether that’s learning new beauty techniques, improving your skills, or expanding your services. The more you grow, the more value you can offer your clients.
Being adaptable has helped me stay relevant and continue building my brand, even when things change. It’s not just about talent—it’s about being willing to evolve and put in the work to keep getting better.
