Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Stephanie Cohen, D.C.
Dr. Cohen is a Doctor of Chiropractic in the Missouri City and Southeast Houston area. She specializes in Prenatal, Pediatric and Women Chiropractic. She is also a Designated Doctor in the Texas Workers’ Compensation System and does Impairment Exams and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Dr. Cohen is originally from New Jersey, and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Dr. Cohen was on the Dean’s List numerous times throughout her undergraduate career. In 2010, she graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina as a Doctor of Chiropractic earning several honors; including Dean’s List and President’s List.
Dr. Cohen is certified in the Webster Technique for Pregnant Women, and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
She has a passion for wellness, nutrition and children. She is a Mother of a 4 year old girl and has a little boy due in September. She welcomes families into her kid-friendly office.
Dr. Cohen also has a passion for Nutrition and offers Nutritional Counseling and Weight Loss Guidance utilizing a Plant-Based Diet and utilizes a variety of Chiropractic Techniques to fit every patient’s needs.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have certainly been obstacles along the way. It is rather challenging to start your own solo practice, but my passion for women and children has been a driving force and kept me focused. Living in a new state away from my family has certainly proven to be a challenge, but I love what I do and my patients have become family to me.

Total Health & Rehab has two offices, one located in Missouri City which focuses on Prenatal, Pediatric and Women Chiropractic Care. It is a very family-friendly environment where kids are able to play and enjoy themselves.
I specialize in Prenatal and Pediatric Care and I am certified in the Webster Technique for Pregnant Patients.
Our focus on growing families sets us apart from other Chiropractic offices. I have extra training in Pediatric and Prenatal Care so Moms can feel comfortable in knowing that this is our specialty in a warm friendly environment.
We also provide affordable care for the whole family.
Our other office is on Gulf Freeway, in the Southeast part of Houston. That office focuses on Workers’ Compensation Exams and Functional Capacity Evaluations. I am a Designated Doctor, which is a Medical Expert for the State of Texas and for Texas Department of Insurance.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I played a lot of sports, including Soccer which I played at the College Level. I love spending time with my family, traveling and seeing new places. One of my biggest passions is Nutrition and the healing power of a Plant-Based Diet. After having my daughter, I was overweight and switched to a Plant-Based Diet and lost 100 pounds and transformed my health. Spreading that message of health has been a passion of mine ever since.
