So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started working at The Houstonian Club running there rock climbing gym providing trips to Colorado and ran there corporate team building events. After that, I started building rock climbing walls throughout the country with clients like the military, twin peaks, colleges, cities, rec centers. I still currently build climbing walls. I just recently built my first rock climbing/adventure center in the Woodlands TX. with a partner Al LaRose. I also provide Houstonians a portable climbing wall that we take to churches schools and city events.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not a smooth road by any means, we are 1 of 10 companies that build climbing walls so the jobs are limited, also finding funding to open our first gym was challenging.

We provide our clients with a high-end rock climbing wall they can enjoy and get fit on, our climbing gym /adventure center provides a great work out and a great experience for the family to enjoy. We specialize in custom built walls as well as custom-designed fitness programs using the climbing wall.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Opening up CLIMB Woodlands and still renting my portable climbing wall for 20 yrs.
