Meet Susan Casias of The Sales Energizer in Energy Corridor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Casias.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Susan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After many years in sales, I decided to start my own business. Many business owners think that all the have to do is give a salesperson a territory and business cards. Most salespeople need a proven process or they fail, miserably. Providing these processes is only the beginning.

The right personality needs to be hired. Then they need to be trained and managed. Most good closers are horrible at prospecting. So many business should supply the leads for their salespeople so all they have to focus on is closing new business.

As The Sales Energizer, I hire, train and manage your outside sales team. I also have a team of people who set pre-qualified appointments for these salespeople. Thus insuring success for the company and their employee.

I was blessed with many gifts that make me awesome at this and I just love, love, love it.

I recently beat rectal cancer. (It was a real pain in the butt.) And now I’m more fierce than ever before, driven to bring balance and success to everyone.

They call me The Sales Energizer because I keep going, and going, and going…….

Has it been a smooth road?
As mentioned before, I recently beat rectal cancer. This ordeal brought me closer to my Lord and helps me to live in the now and always look for balance.

Of course, in my many years to get to this point, there were many struggles; lots of highs and lots of lows. Such is the nature of sales.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I always thought of sales as a ministry. I get to meet many of God’s children and I get to be Jesus to all of them. I don’t need to mention His name or quote the Bible. I only need to connect with everyone.

ABC in sales USED TO mean always be closing. That’s 20th century thinking. In the 21st Century, it means Always Be Connecting. I think that’s the best part of the job.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’ve been all over the United States, I was born in Brooklyn, and after traveling all over, I came back to Houston about 25 years ago and made it my home. Houston has the warm, hot weather that I love and I make great money here.

The great part is that my money goes farther here than in most big cities. And, after beating cancer, the best friends on Earth are found here in Houston.

As with most big cities, driving is always a challenge on crowded roads and highways. Since I’ve lived in mostly big cities, I’m used to it.
