Today we’d like to introduce you to Sweet Punch.
Please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Mina and Natalie started off solo in the home baking hobby as an outlet for our creativity. We both have backgrounds in the arts & design from a young age but we both agree to bring that to life together with baking, specifically cakes and shortbread cookies. We started off by creating a cute Molang cake and cookies for Natalie’s daughter’s 2nd birthday to show our creativity and skill and since then, it’s been a hit!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Honestly, I can say it’s been a smooth road for us! We learn something new every time we do a new order & grow skillfully from each of them and what not to do in the future. We accomplished 2 pop up stands at 2 festivals and thanks to our family and the hours put into our cookies, we always manage to have a good day in the end. The long hours we put into piping each detail cookie only helps us in the long run with our skills. The times we traveled with cakes in our cars to deliver them made us more conscious of our surroundings. We just keep on learning something new every time.
As you know, we’re big fans of Sweet Punch. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Me (Mina) and Natalie have several things in common but one of them is our love for anime and anything cute! We see a lot of fancy and beautiful cake and cookie designs but very rarely of anime or pop culture designs. I believe that’s what sets us apart from others. We can provide cakes and cookies for parties or events for those who have the same likes as us without feeling weird about it.
We love to tackle detailed designs as challenges to help us improve our skills but to stand out to others. To let them know that we can provide the perfect birthday treats for them, to let them know that we love what they love and we can make it happen.
