Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Triplett.
Teresa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started in the promotional product’s business for extra cash for our family with another company. I worked for them from 2001 and was then diagnosed with stage 2 (Almost stage 3 due to the size of the tumor) breast cancer in 2006. I decided when the company I worked for closed their doors in 2007 that I would start my own company, T3 Promotions was opened after fighting through a year’s worth of chemo, radiation and tumor removal and on the cuff of an upcoming year of reconstruction and several other surgeries. I now have owned my business for 10 years, lost my sweet dad 3 years ago and my marriage of 30 years.
I fight through my struggles and keep putting one foot in front of the other even when life seems to be swallowing me. I want other women that are juggling families, careers and struggles to know that it can be done and it is through the strength of my Faith in the Lord that keeps me going. I know the Lord has a plan for my life, He has provided me with the strength that I never knew would be possible in my life. I am grateful and see the purpose in the struggles along my path. I have worked with a nonprofit organization, Cancare as a one-on-one volunteer and a hospital coordinator for about 8 years now.
Working with cancer patients give my life purpose. Giving those newly diagnosed patients hope and hearing their life stories is very rewarding. T3 Promotions is now a company that I rely on to provide for myself. I have built lasting relationships with loyal customers that buy from my company because they trust me and my integrity. I have proven that no matter what the circumstance or the struggle providing their products to them with great customer service is what I take great pride in. I look forward to the abundant blessings that the Lord has promised each of us that are His.
I rest in the promises of the Lord… Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. I look to the future of T3 Promotions and believe that All things work together for those who love the Lord – Romans 8:28
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I think I summed them up in my story. Adversity is only a bump in the road. You get up dust yourself off and move on with Hope for your future. The biggest struggle with my company has been I am the person that does it all so when things break you have to figure out a resolution as quick as possible and move forward.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the T3 Promotions story. Tell us more about the business.
My Company is T3 Promotions. I print screen printed t-shirts, embroidery and promotional items for schools, churches, non-profit organizations, and businesses. I am a vendor in the largest school district CFIDS and proud to serve many of the area businesses.
I am most proud of my customers!! They are absolutely loyal to the core and respect the hard work and heart I put into providing them with not only competitive pricing but also dependable service. I have relationships that I build with my customers because I care not only about T3 Promotions and what I can sell, but also about who they are.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I guess you could say what many people consider “bad luck” has turned my life around to start positive in my life. Through every trial, I know good things will come! In DUE time… not my time, God’s time.
