Hi Thanh , so great to have you join us again. For folks who might have missed our earlier conversations, can you please take a minute to briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Thanh Nguyen, CEO of Enchand Maison candles. I started making candles as a hobby during the pandemic, then it became a passion and eventually inspired me to officially form my business. At this stage in my life, I am currently working in the oil & gas industry as well as trying to grow my candle business into a full-time career. The things that I enjoy the most about my business is that it allows me to express my creativity, as well as the opportunity to share my passion for candles with the world.
What differentiates your candles from others on the market?
Not a lot of people are aware that many candles on the market contain chemicals, such as paraffin, parabens, and other toxins that we are breathing in. Enchand Maison candles are handmade, non-toxic, eco-friendly, & sustainable crackling candles made with pure essential oils and naturally-derived ingredients, such as a blend of coconut, soy, beeswax, which is a natural air purifier. It also comes with a wooden wick that emits a soothing crackling sound when lighted – all packaged in an elegant reusable container.
How should the candles be maintained?
Helpful Maintenance Tips: -It is best to burn the candle between 2-4 hours at a time to prevent carbon collecting on the wick and tunneling. Following this tip also helps the candles last longer.
-Trim the wick 1/4 of an inch each time prior to lighting the candle so it burns evenly.
-If you would like to repurpose your candle container, you can clean out the candle wax and use it as a pencil holder, flower vase, hair accessories, salt, etc.
-Most importantly, don’t forget to light your favorite candle scent to set the mood.
Will you have new candle scents coming out anytime soon?
Enchand Maison is excited to be launching two new scents this year. One will be a seasonal scent coming out this Fall 2021 and the other will be a Special Edition. Look out for updates and announcements on our social media page and website.
In future, do you plan on expanding your product line with Enchand Maison?
Yes, the vision is to eventually expand beyond candles.
