Tonya, Aver, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After working in the computer and IT field for 20+ years I was ready for a change. I’ve had an interest in fashion since I was a little girl and modeled when I was younger, so opening a women’s boutique was a way to fulfill that passion! I found myself beginning a new chapter in my life and circumstances enabled my mother to enter this adventure with me.
We enjoy shopping for quality garments at the market, attending fashion shows, building relationships with our customers and being involved in our community. We actively support and encourage domestic production by carrying many items made in the USA.
We strive to be a boutique where customers can find unique merchandise to express their distinct personality and we welcome feedback and suggestions in efforts to provide excellent customer service to our clientele.
Has it been a smooth road?
Even with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive for success and tenacious personality, the road to success for small business owners can be quite bumpy! Our biggest challenge thus far is spreading brand awareness!

Our 3 most popular brands are Brighton, AZI New York and SPANX. We are very proud to carry Brighton as they are a prestigious brand with a big following. We are fortunate to be the only store in Pearland that carries Brighton. We not only carry jewelry but bags, shoes, belts and gifts. We even started carrying Brighton stemware; wine, champagne and martini glasses.
The second brand that people seek us out for is SPANX. We not only carry the undergarments in XS-2X, but we carry the faux leather leggings, which is our best seller. The slick leggings are like a second skin with built-in tummy control that holds everything in and hides a multitude of sin!
Our third most popular brand is AZI New York. This line is only sold in boutiques and consist of quality apparel embellished with appliqués, Swarovskis and colorful embroidery. Their stretchy jeans are donned with sparkly embellishments and the blouses hold decorative sleeves that make them unique.
Our exclusivity to carry popular brands as the ones fore mentioned as well as Scully Leather and Union of Angels, sets us apart from others. We strive to exceed excellence in customer service, provide free fashion consultations and hold after-hours parties for clients to earn free merchandise!
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
When we were entertaining the possibility of opening a boutique there were only a handful in the area. However, in the past 2 years, there have been several others that have opened, but we all have slightly different clientele. Due to the rapid growth in Pearland, our community has managed to support each of us, even through last year’s Hurricane Harvey.
