Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy M. Richardson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am wife of John Richardson Jr. Praise be to God we just celebrated 21 years of marriage, and we have an unusual amount of children for this day and time, eight! Yes eight. Jessica, John III , Jesse, Joseph, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Jillian and Jacey Rose and I am grantty to one grand gift Jerrica Rose. I am author, speaker and founder of Wonder and the Mission non profit organization. I was born in Frankfurt, Germany and lived in army base housing for the first 3 years of my life. After my fathers’ 4 year deployment in Germany my parents, older sister and myself moved back to Houston, Texas where family was located. Shortly after our move my parents divorced. I grew up in the third ward area of Houston, Texas and came close to not graduating from Houston’s second established historic schools for blacks back in 1926, Jack Yates High School, school for educating and creating leaders. For obvious reasons it was necessary that I attend Kay On going Education for teen mothers my second semester of my senior year. That’s part of my journey or story, I believe we are all on a Journey and Everyone’s journey began the moment we were placed in our mother’s womb whether the lives we were given are a few minutes or a couple of decades. So now you can see that On that part of my journey How I began to make poor choices that would eventually lead me to guilt, shame, and broken-hearted. I would discover that these poor choices and devices of abortion I picked up along the way was never met for me or mankind. I share in my book Unforgettable, the day my life would fall apart Jesus would be right there to gently place it back together again in better condition than before. I also share in my book Unforgettable that there are events in our life as well as the one who created life that we can not simply forget. After discovering the fact that there are an estimated 40-50 million babies aborted annually in our world I was at the lest disturbed, and equally broken hearted for the post aborted women left behind.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Sharing my story has not been a smooth road, not only is Abortion a sensitive issue, it is unnatural for a baby to be forcefully taken away from his mothers womb, and it Is very difficult for women to revisit these secret places they carry in their heart, that perhaps no one knows about, so from experience it is important for patience, compassion and love, love, love.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Wonder and the Mission – what should we know?
I am the founder of Wonder and the Mission non profit organization, our mission is to help the post abortive women find healing, through bible studies and conference speaking rescue unborn babies, and to provide care for children living in poverty.
