Meet Trailblazer Albina Rippy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Albina Rippy.

Albina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My higher purpose is to help people live a happy, healthy and abundant life. In 2008, I left my first career as a CPA in Continental Airlines to chase my dreams and follow my passion. My husband and I opened our first small one-room yoga studio in Midtown, yogaOne Studios. In the following nine years, we grew yogaOne to a thriving community of 7 yoga studios with a juice bar, a beautiful retreat center in Taos, New Mexico touching the lives of thousands of people in the Greater Houston area. My husband and I led yoga at the US White House, the BBVA stadium as well as co-owned and led Texas Yoga Conference.

In 2017, yogaOne Studios were acquired by YogaWorks Inc. It was a conscious and mindful transition for us from being owners, serial entrepreneurs, and leaders of our community to let go of all of our worldly possessions to travel the world with our kids for a whole year.

As we are just now coming back from our adventure, I am focusing on being the best hotelier I can be leading Blue Sky Retreat Center and Bed & Breakfast in Taos, New Mexico. In addition to that, I am fully stepping into the new chapter of my life as a Success Coach.

I am a Master of My Destiny and my goal is to teach others how to become the Masters of their destiny through my success and business coaching. If you are a yoga studio owner, or you think about opening a yoga studio, or you are simply ready to quantum leap to the next level of happiness, wealth and abundance, give me a call!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For the longest time, I struggled with my identity as a powerful businesswoman and entrepreneur and being a young mom. Because running my businesses took so much time, focus and energy, I felt like I was not a good enough mom. Nothing that I ever did with my children was ever good enough for me because of this incorrect belief.

I spent almost a decade ripping out this limiting belief.

I am here to tell you that you do not have to choose one or another. You can be both. As a matter of fact, you can be and do whatever you want! You are a multi-faceted, brilliant human being. You are the Master of Your Destiny. You are the source of all creation. Everything you ever need or want is within you.

You can be a wonderful mom and an amazing entrepreneur, a wife and a friend, an author and community leader all at the same time. You can be creative and artsy and at the same time be exceptional with numbers and science. You are not just one way. You are multi-dimensional and you are beautiful, unique, brilliant and amazing.

Never limit yourself. Expand your wings and fly, my darling.

As a matter of fact, this topic is one of the main purposes of what I do as a success coach. I lead women’s retreat all over the world to empower women, to teach them how to find their own voice and fully step into their power.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
These days, my brand is me.

I come from a small village in the middle of nowhere in Kazakhstan (the former Soviet Republic in Central Asia). Growing up, we did not have running water or electricity. I came to America at age 16 on my own without knowing the language or the culture in the US. I thrived in my career as a CPA. I started and grew a hugely successful yoga brand. I traveled the world with my husband and kids. All of this came to me as a result of my vision and goals and relentless work on myself and my creations.

If I can create the life of my dreams, SO CAN YOU!

My deep-hearted desire is to help women all over the world to live a happy, healthy and abundant life. I want to teach YOU how to become a Master of Your Destiny. Everything that I teach and coach, I have gone through and done myself. This is my passion. This is my dream.

Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
I grew up at the time when the Soviet Union fell apart. As a child, I waited in bread lines. I witnessed how my family’s savings became worthless overnight because the government changed currency literally overnight. I witnessed fear, desperation, and hopelessness firsthand.

Throughout all that hardship, I still believed that if I am relentless in my outstanding work towards my goals and desires. I learned that the problem is never the lack of resources. It’s the lack of resourcefulness. So, I became resourceful and resilient. I learned that all my trials and hardships shaped the person I grew up to become.

And then, I learned that I shape my own destiny.
