Meet Trailblazer Tiffany Frink

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Frink.

Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had a love for shopping and being stylish. From my late teen years to early twenties, I always worked retail and enjoyed it. My family and friends often reach out to me for current style tips, information on when the next “big sale” is and to go shopping with them. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to turn my passion into a business venture. Initially, I did not know where to start…I began by researching the aspects of shopping that I enjoy most and determined becoming a personal stylist and shopper would be the best course of action for me. Getting started was a journey in its self! I will tell anyone, just get started and learn along the way. I began posting virtual styled looks on Instagram and Facebook. Not soon after, people where reaching out to be styled by me and thus the “Shopping with Tiffany Experience” was born!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Smooth road?! *chuckles* Absolutely not! The biggest challenge for me has been navigating the business side of it- setting pricing, determining the best way to market my venture and what tools or resources I need in order to be successful. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, which has definitely helped me. My advice to young women beginning their journey is to-just start. Do it afraid, without support and embrace the unknown.

Surround yourself with like-minded individuals and create your support system. You can do this virtually with online groups or with people in your area. It is a great way to connect with others on the same journey that you are on.

Be prepared to invest in yourself and your business. Even with a business that has low overhead and low start costs, expenses can began to add up quickly.

Talk about your ideas and plans with others. Granted, not everyone will be supportive but talking about it helps because people will ask…how’s the business coming along? Which will help with accountability. Additionally, people will help! Mentioning your plans will let others know you are serious and often times they will point you in the right direction or get you in contact with the appropriate people.

We’d love to hear more about Shopping with Tiffany.

I am known for creating styled looks that are thoughtfully curated and hand delivered directly to you creating the ultimate styling and shopping experience. I am proud that my services are available to everyone, no matter your budget or size. I shop everywhere from thrift stores to high end department stores. It is important to me that we as women embrace our bodies no matter where we are on our life journey…be it: weight gain, weight loss, post baby body blues, surgery, illness, stress or any other life changing events that cause changes to our bodies, I have been there, I have clothing in my closet that ranges from sizes 6-16, they are all mine and I have learned to embrace it! I think having been on just about all sides of the size spectrum and having experienced most of the life changing events mentioned above gives me an edge. What sets me apart is focusing on the complete Shopping with Tiffany experience. I want women to leave a style session with me not only looking and feeling great, but also empowered, encouraged and ready to take on the world!

So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well positioned for?
Women are positioned very well to continue to change the status quo. As we deepen the conversations about the importance of diversity and inclusion, we continue the call to action against gender bias and not being accepting of it; we make our voices heard. Additionally, shifting the focus to economic growth and the empowerment of women is creating numerous opportunities. We must continue to be champions of change and teach the next generation of young girls the importance of rallying for change and being empowered.
