Today we’d like to introduce you to Tray Carmouche.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tray. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Attended & played High School Ball @Nimitz HS. Graduated in 2007.
Attended McLennan Community College and played for Coach Kevin Gill from 2008-2009.
Started NXT Level Training in 2015.
I reached out to an old teacher and my mentor Coach John. I spoke with him and let him know that I wanted to get back involved with the game of basketball. He provided me with gym space to allow me to teach the game of basketball.
Five years later, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of kids, numerous college players, and an NBA player. I’ve traveled to different parts of the country spreading my energy & knowledge of the game of basketball into the youth.
I’m working on my 2nd annual NXT Level Training camp. Summer of 2019.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has definitely been a very mentally challenging road.
Please tell us about NXT Level Training.
We are a player development program for the game of basketball. We teach the game of basketball and help build character & confidence.
