It all started when I decided to specialize in Luxury, after my MBA in Luxury Brand Management in Essec in Paris, I worked for Swarovski as a Marketing Operational Manager. After that, I worked for a very known jewelry brand in Mexico City called Tane as a PR/Marketing Director. I wanted to be able to manage not only jewelry brands, so I decided to work for a PR agency specialized in beauty and fashion. I moved from Mexico City to Houston five years ago. That is when I decided to start my own business as a marketing consultant. Social Brand Boutique is created to help small/ medium companies build their brand and communicate their message while my clients take care of their business. All my expertise comes from working with different brands for more than 10+ years. My past experience with different brands and sectors allows me to provide a different perspective of what is required to communicate your brand and succeed in this digital era.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When I first came to Houston, I didn’t have any contacts, I have always been very social, so after some time, that was not a problem, My first big event was the grand opening of a high-end furniture store called Cam Studio at the Shops At The Arrive River Oaks. My second client was one of the owners of Epicure Café; he hired me for my marketing services for a new restaurant. The CEO of Uptown Real Estate also hired me for a marketing consulting project. That is when I was ready for my business. I also began to be known in the spa sector. I help three spas are located in Bellaire, Post Oak, and Kirby. Also, I support a new skincare line online called Rewind. I am considered boutique as I take on a select number of clients at a time. This allows me to take care of my clients and give them exclusive attention.

That is why I create strategies tailored to the needs of each company. My drive is to increase visibility and help companies reach your goals with creative direction. What were you like growing up?
I was born and raised in Mexico City. I went to a British school (Greengates) and got my IB program; then, I studied Business Administration specialized in Marketing. (ITAM) I lived in Paris for almost two years. Most of my friends are from different nationalities and live in different parts of the world. Friendship is everything for me. My passion has always been traveling and meeting new people. One of my favorite trips was a Photographic Safari in South Africa (Ulusaba, in Kruger Park).
