So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I worked for Conn’s Appliance & Electronics for over 31 years as Sr VP of Stores & Sales. I retired & after a year I started CISD Global. At Conn’s I managed over 2,000 employees. I was responsible for Sales, Training, Recruiting, Development & Retention. All these skills I currently use at CISD Global. At CISD Global we consult companies in various fields. Advertising, Management Training, Recruiting, Retention plans, Marketing, Sales & Store Operations.
Has it been a smooth road?
Well some of the obstacles have been rather minor, most have come from our adjustments to this new area. All the challenges are common, we have to find ways to overcome
So, as you know, we’re impressed with CISD Global – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our business is consulting & Training. We work with companies helping them make their teams more equipped with Training & Development. We also can help with strategy on Advertising & Marketing. Then finally we teach Managers how to manage their team members. We also help with rewards/awards for their employees. I’m most proud of CISD Global is our ability to help companies improve their performance. We take pride in companies that use our services & see improved results in a very short time. We follow up weekly to make sure the results are moving in the right direction after we have helped.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I Love Houston’s diversity, the ability to change & how we are eager to be world leaders & great national hosts. Like the SuperBowl, Final Four, Houston always leaves the guests speechless when it comes Houston’s hospitality. I think we can do more with property that is not habitable & we should do more for the homeless.
