Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Tuthill.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Whitney. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I graduated cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor of science in interior design. From there, I went to work for Jane Page Design Group learning the residential interior design industry and then onto Millennium Designs to design model homes. After a four year program and some experience under my belt, I made the decision to start my own company.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Owning an interior design company is all about making the design experience for the client a smooth road which means that behind the scenes I take care of the procurement headaches and any design struggles.

We offer residential interior design services including drapery design, artwork selection, furniture selection, lamp selection or updating, custom re-upholstery, paint selection, space planning, cabinet design, and visual 3D rendering. What sets us apart is that we believe interior design is not only the well-off. We will work within your budget to achieve the home of your dreams.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I really wouldn’t have done anything differently. The only thing I would say is always measure twice! I once went to install roman shades that were too wide for the windows so they had to be sent back to the workroom. Everything is fixable though and we always keep that in mind.
