Willard, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The FourwsfishingteamLLC promotes the Outdoors through Saltwater Fishing. We specialize in Diversity Inclusion Conservation and Careers in the multi Billion Outdoors Industry. We educate Elementary Middle High School and College Students about the Outdoors and careers in the Outdoors. We work in all the schools in Sunnyside in Southeast Houston. In the Outdoors Industry is not a very diverse industry. There focus is white males. Houston and HISD is the most diverse city and school district in the United States. No greater place to showcase diversity in the outdoors.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Please tell us about Four W’s Fishing Team LLC.
We have appeared on four national fishing TV shows. Two in Galveston, Texas Key West Florida and Mexico. We use our boats to showcase the outdoors with them. They been in parades and school events along with car shows and other outdoors events. We were in the Martin Luther King parade for example. We featured the Mayor of Houston on our boat in Worthing High School parade. We educate thousands of students each year about the outdoors.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Fishing with my dad. He taught we a strong work ethic and all about fishing and the outdoors.
