Worth Products Group launched with our first DIY, patented product in 2004. The luxury wood return grille came to us from a local Tanglewood builder who struggled to source an alternative to unattractive stamped metal air returns. Next, the patented Instant Pendant Light was developed to convert staid recessed cans into chic hanging pendants. With two unique products, Worth Products Group was born and focused on its mission of manufacturing innovative and affordable DIY solutions. Both products are sold in national catalogs as well as e-tailers.
In 2015, Worth Products Group added the world’s first rotating makeup brush to its product mix. blendSMART launched on QVC and now sells in prestige beauty sites like Sephora.com as well as in over 38 Dillard’s. To date, blendSMART has sold over 100,000 units and recently expanded into the EU with Sephora France, Italy, and Spain.
As a full-service product development firm, we take innovative concepts and ideas and develop them into successful product campaigns by integrating them into our network that includes dependable overseas manufacturing, in-house sales and marketing, as well as logistics and fulfillment.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The life of an entrepreneur is rarely smooth and predictable. I will not bore you with obstacles; however, the biggest challenge we faced was and remains to protect our brand, intellectual property, and innovation from knock-offs. We have had three patent infringement incidents that permanently affected our perspective on life, business, and mankind. I do feel this business path has tested us and left us better people, filled with grit and resolve and a core belief that tomorrow brings new opportunities, not challenges.

As a husband/wife team, we own two companies. The first is Worth Home Products, where we create high-quality designed products that are easy to install, look great and last. Our name implies “value,” as we strive to offer well-made products at extremely competitive prices. In fact, our lighting products are made by the same factories that make lighting products for high-end lighting showrooms, and our grille products are made to our highest standards.
The second is Worth Beauty whose mission is to significantly improve conventional beauty tools and methods through innovation, technology, and design. Our flagship product line is blendSMART, a first-of-a-kind automated rotating applicator system that delivers a natural, flawless makeup application every time. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I played competitive tennis as a junior and traveled far distances with my father. Thankfully, I only remember some of the great victories on the road and the laughter.
Because there were many more losses… haha
I really enjoyed the time alone with my father.
