So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I had a decent run in the corporate world and made some strides, but needed a career and lifestyle change. Since I no longer wanted to deal with the politics and obstructions which were preventing me from attaining my goals, I felt it was time for me to put my talent, skills, and energy towards owning a business. The industries that I worked in were always geared towards improving people’s lives, and so I wanted the next phase of my career to be the same. After assessing assorted opportunities, I felt that the vaping industry and VaporFi was the best option for me.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I prepared as best I could, but it was still somewhat unnerving leaving behind the security that working for an employer offered. Partnering with VaporFi had its benefits, but I also surrounded myself with a team of real estate, CPA, legal, bookkeeping, investment, and construction professionals. The process to get up and running took a little longer than I anticipated, but it was done correctly and within budget. I leveraged the skills that I attained throughout my career, but I also have had to learn new ones at a rapid pace.
VaporFi Houston – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I have always tried to be a great friend to others while growing up and I’m still close to some people that I have known since kindergarten. I loved playing outside and participated in stickball, touch football, swimming, basketball, dodgeball, olly oxen free, Little League baseball, Pop Warner football, Wiffle Ball, summer sleep away camps, building forts, go carts, slot cars, sleigh riding, snowball fights, and more. While I was good at many sports, I found my niche by being a triple jumper for the University of Houston track and field team. I graduated from the School of Business with a degree in Management Information Systems.
