Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvonne Guidry.
Yvonne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My career began in the music industry, where I was a woman with many hats on a record label. I did everything from securing artist appearances, media opportunities and ultimately becoming the Creative Director for Swisha House.
In 2008, I decided to create a blog and 10 years later I am celebrating my blogs 10th Anniversary. Between now and 2008, I have worked with many brands such as Dove, Macy’s, Hennessy and H-E-B to most recently being the Lifestyle Specialist for Ciroc and Deleon Tequila working under Diddy. (I left that position in March 2018).
One of my proudest moments was when I was able to merge the Latin and Hip Hop Culture with Ciroc at The Latin Grammy Awards, where I was with French Montana and I was able to introduce him to Luis Fonsi, Residente from Calle 13, and Juanes. I have gotten this far by not giving up on myself, working hard, taking advantage of opportunities, by sharing my knowledge with many people, not being star struck and good karma.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing in life is easy, its all a matter of staying positive and understanding that work isn’t always a smooth ride but if you make it fun and hustle like there is no tomorrow anything is possible.

My blog SpoiledLatina.com is a Lifestyle Blog aimed to empower women through beauty and fashion. I work with a variety of brands to bring their brand to life in the social media space. I host award shows, red carpets, interview celebs and blog about what I love. Since I began my blog in 2008, I’ve been awarded an assortment of awards.
A few that I’m most proud of are my city proclamation which was given to me in 2015 since receiving the day in my honor I created a woman’s empowerment event and this year I will be hosting my 3rd annual SL Day, with a Soiree on July 15th. I have also been awarded a Tecla Award given to me by my peers in social media for Best Lifestyle and Entertainment Blog in 2017 and I was also awarded the Boss Life Award by the Boss Life Foundation earlier this year.
I think was sets me apart is my business relationships, my personality and my nothing can stop me attitude.
What were you like growing up?
I have always been the outgoing friend. That one girl who wasn’t settling for mediocre. I played volleyball, basketball and ran track and tried my best at all 3 but fell in love with Volleyball. I remember serving the winning serve for quite a few games. I have always had a lot of friends who support me. I was always told by my teachers and friends that I was meant to be on tv or in the entertainment business and here I am.
