Today we’d like to introduce you to Zach Turner.
Zach, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Approximately four years ago the price of oil collapsed and I lost my job. After several months of looking I ended up having to work out of State for almost year. After coming home for the birth of my youngest daughter I decided I needed to find a job at home. Since there were no jobs available in my field I decided to create my own. I noticed that there were no legitimate exterior cleaning companies in Fulshear. Fulshear is a small town, but is one of the fastest growing cities in the State so I grabbed the domain and the rest is History.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The hardest part about starting up for me was the marketing aspect. Everybody wants to sell you something. I tried everything, but found that the best is still word of mouth. I also joined the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce and started networking with other local business owners. They have really helped me grow my business.
Fulshear Pressure Washing – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Fulshear Pressure Washing is a local, family owned and operated company specializing in Commercial and Residential pressure washing services. Whether you need to clean your residential patio or a 100,000 sq. ft. commercial parking garage, we pride ourselves on being able to handle any pressure washing project. We specialize in low pressure roof cleaning, stucco cleaning and window cleaning using de-ionized water.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
One of my construction clients told me that he was awarded several HISD painting contracts after hurricane Harvey because the maintenance directors at the schools I worked on over the summer were so impressed with our paint preparation.
