Meet Zohaib Hassan Patoli of SnapWeb Services in Uptown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zohaib Hassan Patoli.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Zohaib. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Growing up, my father instilled his entrepreneurial spirit in me. Starting back in elementary school, I was selling pens & chips to my fellow classmates gaining some extra lunch money. Then in middle school, I got into trading/selling Nike & Jordan sneakers and unlocking/jailbreaking iPhones. That was really when my passion for business started becoming aggressive since the earnings were much more profitable compared to selling chips.
I used to wait in lines for HOURS for limited-edition sneakers or have my older friends drive me to Starbucks, where I would meet up with my customers brought in via Facebook groups, forums, or craigslist ads.

My first “actual” business, started when I noticed an upcoming trend in unique patterned jeans (biker jeans, ripped, etc). My partner & I decided to open an e-commerce store where we sold these unique patterned jeans at an affordable cost. The only other person in the market was selling similar jeans for $500+. That business rose aggressively due to the high demand for the product & not enough suppliers at the time. We generated almost six figures in sales within our first year! Then fast fashion brands, such as H&M, Cotton-on, and Zara started selling them too which slowed our sales down. To cut our losses short, we decided to sell our e-commerce store on Flippa.com.

Though very quickly something caught my eye, I got infatuated with the idea of trading stocks and the “get rich quick” stigma behind it.  The first few months were hard, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. After countless hours of reading, researching, & joining different groups where I could collaborate with others, I started understanding the art and would return a decent profit. From there, with the funds I profited, I flipped pretty much any high-profit item I could get my hands on, from cars to websites to houses.
To be completely honest, this venture got pretty boring & the fact that my income was unstable was a major turn-off.  My brother & I worked on a couple of ideas for our next venture and decided to create an e-commerce enterprise that operated multiple niche stores. We tightened our shoelaces & moved forward with it. Within the first year, we generated over a million in revenue. One very important thing we realized throughout this venture was our branding, marketing, & customer services.
After this realization, it was clear what we had to do next. We needed to start a marketing agency so we can help other business owners grow. The idea of running a true business owner-centered agency was love at first sight. Understanding that every day would bring new challenges & every client would have even more specific challenges, all for me to solve was music to my ears. That is the birth story of SnapWeb Services. I’ll be the first to admit it, starting out was an absolute struggle. Neither one of us had any previous strong agency background, needless to say, it was hectic.

Now moving into our 3rd year in business, we have been able to achieve what we set out for. Many of our client’s business life have been drastically improved, such as one who owns an automotive repair shop. We have 3x his 25+-year-old business revenue since we partnered with him for the past 20 months.
Our average client has a return of 700%-800% & some have 1700% plus! That $17 per $1 spent with SnapWeb. Simultaneously, along with SnapWeb & e-commerce, I opened a head shop & a CBD brand.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth is far from what I have experienced throughout my years. There have been so many issues, which I only refer to as learning curves, in every part of my journey & I am expecting many, many more. From getting robbed, bad stock picks, purchasing an unfixable house in the auction, issues with partners, client-related issues, and payment processor issues in e-commerce, all the way to figuring out how to make SnapWeb & a CBD brand successful. It’s all been a heck of a ride, but a good one for that.
Please tell us about your business.
Though I have an extensive portfolio, you and I do not have all the time in the world to go through them. However, I will mention 2 of my star businesses.
My favorite/most prideful business I own, SnapWeb Services & my newest business Atmos.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
So many people! From my friends to family. But they’re honestly six people who deserve the most.
First, my dad who always believed & supported in everything I have done & helped paved the way to success.
Second, my mom for still making sure I remained humble and stuck to my roots. Thanks to her I am giving back to my communities & sending prayers to Allah for all the blessings. She taught me to always be thankful & grateful.
Third, my brother Bilal, who always supported my ideas, called me out when I was wrong, & had my back when I needed it.
