We recently had the chance to connect with Miranda Arredondo and have shared our conversation below.

Miranda, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me is waking up at 4 AM to be ready to Coach. My client starting at 5 AM. In between that I am running my children to school/mother duties, all while try to take care of my own mental/physical health .

I am so blessed to have helped so many over the years ! I thank God everyday that I get to meet so many wonderful people. Nothing brings more joy to my heart than helping you all unlock the potential you have along with building the confidence inside and out of the gym. :

I believe everything we do within training can be applied to our everyday life. Training the mind and body will allow us to overcome any obstacle that is thrown our way… ♥️ ✨

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that I’m releasing is the coach who felt responsible for carrying everyone’s motivation on my own. The version of me that overworked, over-gave, and forgot to leave space for my own rest and growth. She served her purpose — she taught me discipline, heart, how deeply I care about the people I guide. But now I’m releasing the part of me that felt I had to be perfect, available 24/7, or endlessly strong.
I’m stepping into a new level as a trainer and coach: someone who leads with balance, boundaries, and intention. Someone who pours into others and herself. Someone who coaches from a place of experience, not exhaustion. That’s the version I’m bringing into this next season.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes , there were moments I wanted to give up coaching. Times when I felt burnt out, unappreciated, or like I was pouring into everyone else while running on empty myself. Times when the early mornings, late nights, and the weight of everyone’s goals felt heavier than my own strength.
But every time I thought about walking away, something pulled me back — a client breakthrough, a message of gratitude, a reminder of why I started. Coaching isn’t easy, but it’s purpose. And purpose has a way of calling you back even when you feel tired.
So yes, I wanted to give up… but I didn’t. And I’m stronger, better, and more aligned because of it.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is purpose — helping people become the strongest, healthiest version of themselves. They’d say I care deeply about growth, loyalty, and showing up for the people I love. They know that my heart is in my coaching, my family, and becoming better every day. They’d say what matters most to me is making an impact… not just in the gym, but in people’s lives.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
What I understand deeply — that most people don’t — is that transformation isn’t just physical. It’s mental, emotional, and spiritual. Most people think fitness is about workouts and discipline, but I know it’s really about healing old patterns, building self-trust, and choosing yourself every single day.
I understand that people don’t quit because they’re weak — they quit because they’re hurting, overwhelmed, or unsupported. I see the layers behind people’s goals… the insecurities they hide, the confidence they crave, and the strength they don’t yet realize they have.
What I understand is that coaching is about changing lives, not just bodies.
