Hi Regina, thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
My name is Regina Toliver and I’m the CEO and Founder of F.A.N.C.Y. Your Aura, LLC founded in 2018. It’s an online based company operated here in Houston, Texas. We offer products such as tees, hoodies, tanks, etc. and recently added in November 2020 Fancy Glo Cosmetics which is cruelty-free offering lashes, eyeshadows, mascara, lip gloss and body butter (NEW). Our brand mission statement is to spread faith, love and peace throughout the community and the world.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration would have to be my mother, Elizabeth. Growing up, I’ve seen all the hard work and determination she put in to make sure that her children had the best. Observing her really motivated me to never give up and to stay focused, no matter what it I wanted to pursue in life. She’s our rock!
Do you believe there is special formula in becoming a successful entrepreneur?
I don’t think that there is a special formula for being an entrepreneur, but I do believe that it takes hard work. The most important thing is to see it through and not give up. Success doesn’t happen overnight, so stay consistent. When one door closes, there’s always a bigger purpose. Keep going, this is not your final destination. Never let the fear of the unknown or fear period deter your purpose. Grow in your purpose but be mature enough to receive those blessings.
If you had the chance to partner with anyone, who would it be and why?
If I could partner or collaborate with anyone, it would definitely be Macy’s because they have been around a long time and they are a larger retail chain. I’d love to have a display of my products in their stores. They have awesome programs, workshops and events that they offer to small businesses as well so that’s a big plus for me. I always speak things into existence, you never know what will happen. Speak life into everything that you wish to accomplish.
