Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Betancourt and Lalo Montoya.
Hi Alex & Lalo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have other businesses, and Mr. balloon started as a hobby and to help out a friend who needed someone that made garlands for her business. We would only do it in our free time and we had a lot of fun doing it and people liked our work so we decided to spend a little more time on learning new techniques and making it a real business instead of just a hobby. Slowly but surely, Mr. Ballon’s studio started growing and we leased an actual studio in River Oaks not only for the decorations but we also opened a ballon store where we sell all the Gemar products.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We are very thankful to our clients because they have made it a smooth road because they are recommending us to all their friends and family.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are very proud of our work because we make people’s moments and events special and memorable. We strive to go above our client’s expectations and personalize the garlands and balloons decorations to the theme or colors they picked to decorate their events. We work very closely with them to know exactly what they have in mind and we make it happen.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We love how people are so friendly, and they get excited about our business’ growth. What we don’t like is traffic, haha.
