Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I was little, I always said I was going to be an artist! I was always finding ways to make something out of whatever I could find. When I found that the magic of photography could capture what my eyes could see… That opened a whole new door for my creative juices!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think finding a way to market has always been a struggle.You can have the most amazing work, and get 10 views. You can have the most mediocre work and get tens of THOUSANDS views, shares, and purchases.
I am also still finding it difficult to create without a personal studio. I’ll get there someday!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
With my photography and photo manipulation, I capture beauty in a way that I can create an ethereal work of art. I am known for my fantasy/fairytale style work. I love to play with other types of style as well!
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is playing hooky from school in second grade so I could watch as much Bob Ross as I could. I never even followed along, I just wanted to watch all the techniques and colors at work!
