Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My real estate journey started with inspiration from my grandfather, who was deeply involved in real estate investment. Watching him navigate the industry sparked my passion for homes, investment opportunities, and helping people find the perfect place to call home.

I officially launched my real estate career in Galveston and quickly built a reputation for my dedication, market expertise, and client-first approach. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the unique Galveston market, whether they’re purchasing a primary residence, a vacation home, or an income-producing rental.

My business has grown tremendously, and I’ve expanded my reach by founding GTX Realty Group, a team of dedicated professionals committed to providing top-tier service. In just our first year, we were voted Best Real Estate Company by Galveston.com for 2024, a recognition that speaks to the hard work, passion, and relationships we’ve built in the community.

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every client, referral, and opportunity that has helped me get here. And the best part? I’m just getting started.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to building a successful real estate business hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has been an opportunity for growth. Like any entrepreneur, I’ve faced my share of struggles—navigating market shifts, balancing multiple ventures, and growing a team while ensuring we maintain the highest level of service.

One of the biggest challenges early on was establishing myself in a competitive market. Real estate isn’t just about selling homes; it’s about building trust, earning referrals, and proving your value time and time again. I had to be relentless—honing my skills, staying ahead of market trends, and creating a strong personal brand that sets me apart.

Through every challenge, I’ve learned that success in real estate—and in business—is about persistence, relationships, and always finding ways to add value. I’m grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the incredible clients and team members who make it all worthwhile.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What sets me apart is my deep understanding of Galveston’s real estate landscape—from historic homes to new developments, vacation rentals, and second homes. Having personally renovated properties, flipped homes, and built strong relationships with trusted contractors, I can offer clients insight that goes beyond the transaction. Whether someone is buying their dream home or looking for an income-producing property, I help them make informed, strategic decisions.

Another thing I’m known for is my marketing and social media expertise. I don’t just list homes—I create high-impact listing videos, engaging social media content, and strategic marketing campaigns that ensure my clients’ properties stand out. My ability to showcase homes in a compelling way has been a game-changer for sellers looking to attract the right buyers.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is the rapid success of GTX Realty Group. In our first year, we were voted Best Real Estate Company by Galveston.com for 2024, which speaks to the trust we’ve built with our clients and the dedication of my team. I was also voted #1 Realtor in Galveston County for 2024, a recognition I’m incredibly honored to have received.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I believe that calculated risk-taking is essential for growth, both in business and in life. Without taking risks, there’s no opportunity for innovation, learning, or achieving something greater than what’s already in front of you. While I don’t consider myself reckless, I do believe in betting on myself, trusting my instincts, and stepping outside of my comfort zone when the right opportunity presents itself.

One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was launching GTX Realty Group. Starting my own team was a leap of faith—it meant taking full responsibility for building a brand and creating something that reflected my vision and values. There were plenty of unknowns, but I knew that by surrounding myself with the right people and staying committed to my clients, I could make it work. That risk paid off in a huge way. In our very first year, GTX Realty Group was voted Best Real Estate Company by Galveston.com for 2024—a milestone that solidified that taking that leap was the right decision.
