Klips Hair Co. was born out of my love for versatile hairstyles without the long-term commitment. Growing up, my hair was always a conversation starter—being a brown girl with curly, jet-black hair naturally drew attention. I embraced that uniqueness and found joy in switching up my look effortlessly.
My journey with clip-in extensions started over 12 years ago when I taught myself, using YouTube, how to hand-sew clips onto wefts. This DIY approach became my go-to method for achieving different styles while protecting my natural hair. After years of perfecting the process, I realized there was a gap in the market for high-quality, easy-to-use clip-ins designed for everyday styles.
Though I never expected to start a hairline, Klips Hair Co. aligns perfectly with who I am—someone who believes in embracing versatility, confidence, and beauty on your own terms.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting Klips Hair Co. came with its challenges, from bringing awareness to a niche market to finding my tribe of supporters who truly understand and appreciate the versatility of clip-in extensions. Educating customers on the benefits of high-quality clip-ins—especially for everyday styles—has been a journey in itself.
Beyond building the brand, balancing it all has been a challenge. Juggling a full-time career, marriage, and motherhood while growing a business requires constant time management and dedication. Despite the obstacles, my passion for creativity and helping others feel confident in their hair keeps me pushing forward.

I’m the owner of Klips Hair Co., a brand specializing in high-quality clip-in hair extensions designed for everyday hairstyles. We focus on making luxury hair extensions more accessible, offering a range of textures to ensure a seamless blend for different hair types. Our product line includes Classic and Seamless clip-ins in Silky Straight, Textured Straight, and Textured Curly textures.
What sets us apart is our commitment to education and personalization. We don’t just sell hair—we offer 1:1 coaching sessions to help customers with texture matching, foundation techniques, and styling tips, ensuring they feel confident wearing their extensions.
I’m most proud of building a brand that empowers people to switch up their look with ease while maintaining a natural, effortless aesthetic. We’re all about enhancing, not overpowering, your natural beauty.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My motivation is deeply rooted in the lessons I learned from my family. My mom sparked my creativity at an early age by handcrafting personalized jogger suits for me during the Fall, each with its own festive detail. Her imaginative approach taught me to see beauty and potential in every creation. My dad, on the other hand, demonstrated the power of perseverance and resourcefulness. Despite having a limited formal education, he built a successful Logging company from the ground up. Though neither of them ever formally discussed entrepreneurship, simply observing their drive and ingenuity instilled in me a passion for creating and innovating in my own life. My husband and children are huge contributors to Klipshairco’s success. My kids model and advertise my products via networking and social media. Generating leads and building the awareness of Klipshairco. My husband creates and manages all of the custom needs from branded clothing to customize vendor decorations no project is too big. It takes all of us to see the success for Klips Hair Collection.
