Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Callegari.
Hi Chloe, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Chloe Callegari. I am a 33-year-old single mother, master stylist, salon owner and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience.
I would consider myself to be self-motivated, aware and inspired by positivity and love! Hair has been my passion since I was a child. I would watch my mother (who is also a hairstylist) while she worked on her clients. Often mimicking her by styling all of my dolls’ hair in various styles.
Now that I am a mother, my 9yr old daughter is doing the exact same thing. Following in the footsteps of her mother & grandmother (Three Generations) and she’s learning rather quickly I might add. In life, I have learned that when you are passionate about something you’ll work ten times harder to achieve your goal. I am a force to be reckoned with in the hair industry and was even coined the name “Growing Hands” by my clientele of over 10+ years.
With that being said, I am also looking forward to other future investments and projects outside of the hair industry as well. There’s so many more ways to expand as a person. Having several streams of income is something I’ve always lived by. It’s very important for generational wealth!
In the end, all things that were supposed to happen, happened. I am grateful for the blessings and lessons learned. I am living proof of them all. I am here to show the world that by having faith in God, prayer, staying consistent in my craft, and manifesting my goals were all I needed to create me! I believe that even in this oversaturated world there is still room for us to all make it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Have you ever been thrown into an assignment without directions? This was me! In the beginning, not having the knowledge of budgeting my finances as a self-employed individual, was a major problem and a constant setback. I was making the money but lacked the skills to properly manage and invest it back into my business. As usual, home came before the salon in terms of paying bills. After all, I work to live right? I was terribly wrong in that aspect of thinking.
Coming up, I was never taught the finances, only the skill. So how to budget, or plan for a 401 K as a business owner was foreign to me. All of these things created obstacles, which was very discouraging. I had to do lots of research, teach and reteach myself. I made many mistakes but of course, there are always bumps in the road along the way. All these shaped me into the strong, now informed professional business owner that I am now. There are still many daily obstacles to overcome there always will be.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work consists of me being a master stylist, salon owner, luxury hair care product line owner, luxury hair extension owner and overall entrepreneur.
Hair Stylist/Salon Owner.
Growing up, I always knew that I too would become a professional stylist and that I am! But for me, this wasn’t enough! After opening my salon B Fab Hair Studio, I decided to create a haircare line catering to my client’s specific hair needs. I now own a line of products (B Fab Luxury Hair Care) I Also own a luxury hair extension line all available for purchase on our website & Local Beauty Supply Stores. I am currently working on my new luxury wig line to add to my already established salon. I firmly believe in superb customer service, in business. My daily mission is to give every client exactly what they ask for and make every single person feel absolutely fabulous inside and out. My goal is to create a luxurious and affordable experience for my clients to remember at B Fab Hair Studio. No matter what direction life takes me in I will always take “HAIR” my passion, along for the ride.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy? Having GOD as my leader! Being a mommy to my beautiful princess! I work so hard so that I am able to give her the world. Watching her love and learn the business firsthand melts my heart. My schedule is grueling but spending time with her and watching her blossom into her own genuinely makes me happy. My beautiful mother has been a great contributor to my happiness from helping me recognize my talent/passion & loving me unconditionally flaws and all! My mom has such a sweet, amazing, full of life energy that keeps the whole family together.
I am a lover of life so my friends, a relaxing spa day, trips, and new experiences all bring me forms of happiness! These things allow me to reset, refocus, and realign, so that I am able to come back to my business with a positive mindset. I’m a firm believer in “self-care is the best care”! I’ve always made certain that I take a minute for myself. If you know me you know that I love life and I’m the life of the party!
