Today we’d like to introduce you to Craig Gallien.
Hi Craig, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Well, I started off writing poems at 16 and it just started picking up from there to be honest. I was already infactuated with music and plus I come from a family who did or still do music so it was destined for me. It didn’t start getting serious until I got out of high school and started going to college at Texas Southern. I was already freestyling a little bit but I was good at just writing but I kept practicing and sure enough, my writing was good then I was able to work on my voice and my cadence and it all came into play.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes, I would say it’s been a smooth road because I expected the road to success to not come as easy or come overnight. I’m just taking it day by day and not giving up and honestly just leaving it up to God’s hands and my work ethic.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I rap, make hip-hop music. I really specialize in making messages or concepts with true lyrical content but I changed my style of rap a tad bit so people can understand better what I am saying in other words having my lyrics water down a tad bit. I’m not really known for anything right now to be honest but my biggest song is “Aye Mane” so I am kind of known from that, In a YouTube aspect of it. I’m also just proud that I have a talent I can use positively and do what I love and what sets me from others is that, I don’t lie or force in my raps and plus I was raised to be myself.
