Today we’d like to introduce you to Earl Minard III.
Hi Earl, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started making music in 2012 under a different rap name “O.E.” I changed my rap name to Earl The Monarch in 2017. I’ve dropped multiple albums from Pain on The Rocks (2017), The Blue Tape (2019) to Blue Cup Chronicles (2023) as well collaborative efforts like my collab project with Shawn Keith “No Fear” (2018) & Triumph Szn with Killa Trae & Thurnis Vick (2021)
I’ve always had a love and passion for music, my main goal with music is to help change lives like music has done for me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every road has its roadblocks and steep potholes. The journey hasn’t been the worst but it hasn’t been the best either. Biggest issue I’ve run into with music is taking certain things personal when it’s business. There are no personal feelings in business, but we live & we learn. At the same time taking accountability every experience I wouldn’t change cuz I learned “oh I could have done this better”
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a hip-hop artist from Port Arthur, Texas. The land of the Trill, home of Pimp c (RIP) & Bun B. I’m mostly known for my songs “Inhibitions” & “$15”. One of my proudest moments was opening up for a sold out crowd in Arizona at Pub Rock and having the whole venue rocking! I’m gearing up to drop my next & final album “The Blue Tape 2” at the top of 2026! I was able to cut a record with one of my favorite artists ever on the album so I’m real excited about that!
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Trust Not Soul!
