Today we’d like to introduce you to Francis Gutierrez
Hi Francis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Francis Gutiérrez, but everyone knows me as Campa. I was born in Punto Fijo, Venezuela, and six years ago I moved to this incredible city that has allowed me to grow and connect with wonderful people. Ten years ago, I founded Campanella, a family brand known for its handmade designs for brides and accessories for special occasions. We now also offer wedding planning services.
With eight years of experience in personal and professional image consulting, my mission is to help my clients project an integrated and coherent image that aligns with their lifestyles, circumstances, and occupations. Through my social media, I promote a message of self-love that goes beyond physical appearance. I firmly believe that true beauty comes from confidence and self-respect.
In 2021, I had the honor of receiving an Emmy Award for my work on a documentary about human trafficking and sexual exploitation, a recognition that reflects my commitment to important causes and my desire to make a positive impact on society.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with influential personalities such as Siudy Garrido (flamenco dancer), Stefania Fernández (Miss Universe), Michelle Posada (podcaster), María Gabriela Isler (Miss Universe), Adriana Paniagua (Miss Nicaragua 2018), Ángela Ponce (Miss Spain 2018), and Paula Galindo (Pautips, YouTuber), among many others. Each consultation is an opportunity to highlight the individuality and authenticity of my clients.
For me, fashion is not the main focus. I work with respect for each client’s personality and life, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident with their image. My goal is for you to look and feel incredibly good, reflecting your true self in every aspect of your life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy at all. Emigrating truly tests your resilience and ability to reinvent yourself. When we arrived in the city, the first thing we did was open a stand for my brand in a shopping mall, without understanding the sales dynamics of this country or conducting a prior market study. In hindsight, we would have made different decisions, but these experiences have shaped our character, both for my husband and me. We’ve learned the importance of working together, appreciating the simple things in daily life, enjoying every step we take, and supporting each other during difficult times.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a personal and professional image consultant, and I specialize in bridal image consulting. Additionally, I am a speaker and I enjoy conducting group consultations online. My intention has always been to convey a message of self-love, beyond fashion. When you look good, you feel good. When you learn to dress from the inside out, you are speaking to your projects and dreams. I love what I do, and it brings me deep satisfaction to help my clients communicate coherently what they want for their lives and what their goals are.
A person who looks in the mirror and learns to love their reality, to value their body and attributes, will be a confident and successful professional. I am not a consultant who seeks to fill your wardrobe with trendy clothes or push you beyond your shopping capacity. All my consultations always start with respect for each client’s personality and lifestyle.
