Today we’d like to introduce you to Jack Odom.
Hi Jack, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I love that what makes an artist is the come up, the origin, but I don’t have a that, i believe my story would start right here for you. There’s nothing out of the ordinary except extraordinary passion for doing what I love. If you think about it, It lead me here.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth roads are to be found if you want to reach a finish line. I’ve had many rocky moments that helped me reinforce my “vehicle”. Although, a quiet soul with a loud goal is THE struggle for me. Thanks to social media though, I’ve refined that. “Content creating” helped me break out of a shell that otherwise was too timid, but being shy is not rapper material, ya know? That cocky persona is an emotion not a way of life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I preach my passion deeply. I didn’t pick up the pen up to make a dollar. I just genuinely love poetry and rap. Lyrics always mattered to me, proper delivery and a message sticks. It’s not hard to think about how all the best songs, from all genres, delivered a message. So expect DEEP lyricism, & a variety of topics from all I’ve been through and still go through, really into realism. The challenge is making it digestible to jam to. I don’t mention it alot but I’m proud that I’ve turned a message into somebodys favorite song to work out to, ya know? No matter if you’re in love or heartbroken I have a song for that! Diversity in my verses is what will set me apart, I just need your ear.

Thank you. They say support doesn’t cost a thing, but it does. I’m not the only artist my friends listen to, so I’m thankful when they take but 5 minutes or even 30 seconds to support me.
