Rising Stars: Meet Jacqueline Pappillion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Pappillion.

Hi Jacqueline, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started modeling at a young age. I was fascinated with the art of beauty in all forms. I studied the women I would see in magazines and on America’s next top Model I saw how empowering and beautiful it was to see Women on the covers of magazines and thought, that will be me someday! Past Requirements for modeling were that you had to be a certain size and weight, however the industry has opened up to all different types of modeling now so that is when I decided to focus on my real passion and create my own brand, “iamjacquelinepappillion”. In doing so, I have received multiple contracts from different vendors to promote their products. That is how “iamjacquelinepappillion” got started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has had its challenges… but overall, it has been fulfilling. I absolutely love being in front and behind the camera. The most challenging I would say is getting the right exposure to gain high-end contracts for modeling.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Financial Analyst for Rig Runner full time, and I model as my other career. What sets me apart is my relentless drive and work ethic to achieve the tasks set forth. I have an innate ability to make sure whatever I create or do is perfect. I’m a self-starter and once I’m given a task, I complete it.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Find a mentor who is in the same field that you are or are trying to pursue. Study your craft and perfect it. Don’t be afraid of taking risks and getting outside your box. You might just surprise yourself.
