Today we’d like to introduce you to Kamsi Diane Daniels.
Hi Kamsi Diane , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Okay my name is Kamsi Diane, a seasoned Nigerian Media Entrepreneur, Creative Director and Founder. Before I became a founder, I started off early with digital and on demand skills like graphics design and video editing at the age of 15. I took on roles with a few media companies outside Nigeria by the time I was 17 and worked with them for a while before starting my own business here in Lagos. From a young age, I always had passion for storytelling, aviation, creativity, business and entrepreneurship. I had people I drew my inspiration from, leaders who inspire me in taking action like Gary Vaynerchuk, Vusi Thembekwayo, Tony Elumelu, Viola Davis and Ibukun Awosika. They still do till date. Watching these people shaped me in different ways I can’t imagine. Also being an obedient daughter of God who’s intuition never lied, with undoubted faith played a huge role in my becoming.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
After covid, the world changed. Some of us creatives hit a road where it wasn’t moving forward for us despite how talented we are. For me I pushed through with resilience. I didn’t bother to document my journey on camera but I made sure changes were made. I got introduced to AI when it was making waves and from there I experimented and tried out different niches in the Artificial intelligence industry. I started out with Ad copy writing, where I’d research and put into writing, words that captivate and drew out emotions from people that will lead to a purchase. I did this using graphics design so as to look appealing. I also did content writing, Pixar level animation and design and then moved to Content Marketing all with the help of advanced AI tools. This is where I created short demonstrative Ads for Brands with a good storyline they can use for marketing on platforms like YouTube and the rest. My skill set evolution with the help of AI is something I myself love to go through when I’m less busy. It revealed my resilient sides a lot as a lot of changes and corrections were made to be this good. I still currently do this btw 😂
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Okay so for what I do, I love to call myself a Creative Director, which I really am lol but I am a Content Marketing Strategist and Campaign Manager. I help brands produce high quality marketing Ads with the help of AI, storytelling and on point branding.
For my offline business, I have a brand called The F&A Lagos, where I work together with interior designers and architects based in Lagos and within Nigeria. This was my very first business that gave me exposure to the other parts of Lagos and enlightened me further in entrepreneurship.
What sets me apart from others is my ability to keep to timing, not giving up, always ready to learn, being able to correct a mistake and keen attention to detail. What any brand that works with me wants, is exactly what they get. I make sure to provide concepts brands can test run, to see what works best and what didn’t and I definitely don’t leave them hanging or being reminded on what next to do. I follow up until that project is completely successful.
What I’m known for is honesty. I love to solve hard tasks or what people term “difficult” and proper communication is what really leads to solving a pain point. I’m not the type to just give out promises without figuring out the main issue. One of my mentors, Mrs Adeleke called me one day and said, Kamsi, I’m really proud of you. The work of your hands will always be blessed” She said this because she assigned me to a project early 2025 and i didn’t fail her.
