Today we’d like to introduce you to Lea Marie.
Hi Lea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
1. My family is a musical family, we love to sing Karaoke, we play many instruments! The first song I ever sang was Dancing Queen by ABBA in the living room during a family party. Then in first grade I performed it for a talent show, I fell in love with the stage! I was in choir from 3rd Grade until my Sophomore Year in High School! I even lettered in choir my freshmen year and got to be apart of chamber choir sophomore year, exclusive to only juniors and seniors. Music has always been in my life. It keeps me sane. Gives me peace. When I feel down, I sing. I got confirmed into the Catholic faith at 16 years old with my saint being St. Cecilia. (Patroness of Musicians) Music is a reminder that God gave me a gift for a reason, it’s important I use it for Good.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
2. Life’s never been smooth. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. When the enemy tells you, you can’t. Remind yourself that you can. God is going to take you through the trial and life will get better.. Good things never come easy.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Advice to anyone starting out is to really ask yourself what your why is for making music. Why do you want to make music? Stay true to yourself and don’t belittle your style for anyone. Know exactly what you want in your music. Stay humble and never compare yourself to someone else’s success. We’re all going to make it.
