Hi Michael, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m from Chicago and was introduced to Houston, Tx in 2004 to attend TSU on football scholarship. From there I went on to further my career as a professional. After moving around to 4different cities, I found myself back in Houston. After playing football professionally and started having fun with modeling, I received a call and relocated to Los Angelas in pursuit of a acting career. I was featured on several shows such as the “The Game” on BET and movies like “The Best Man Holiday” and several commercials Steve Harvey talk show etc..
After leaving LA, I came back to the state of Texas and became a business owner. I started as an athletic trainer amongst other businesses but currently running a security protection service by the name ElevateSecurityServices along with a plant based beard care line HighBorn Beard Care Company. HighBorn is a All Natural Luxury Plant Based Beard Care line that’s being sold in barber shops, beauty supply stores in multiple cities and online platforms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve learned to eliminate fear and emotions. Fear holds you back and most times we make improper decisions from uneasy emotions. I’ve learned to turn my losses into lessons. It definitely hasn’t been easy but the experiences has been worth it.

Well, with my size standing at 6’5 270lbs and almost 20year experience working security. I maximized the opportunity to create more for myself and others. I provide security/protection for people and properties. Im a model for my beard care line and fly drones professionally and an investor. Also I’m a father to 3 daughters. That’s definitely work in itself lol.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up in South Chicago with a single mother, I didn’t make it easy for her. I grew up fast yet basketball kept me focused and somewhat out the streets.
