Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi Lemons.
Hi Naomi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into juicing actually started after a disheartening breakup in 2022. My eating lifestyle was great before I met my partner. Once we got together, I started reverting into eating things he ate which caused me to gain my unwanted weight back. I used to buy fresh juices and after our breakup, I started doing some research of my own on juicing and the benefits. I wanted to find simple ways to incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and nutrients into my daily routine. In 2023, I began making fresh juices for myself and quickly fell in love with the process and the way it made me feel. I started incorporating my healthy eating habits with my juicing and got back down to my goal weight.
As I continued learning about wellness and nutrition, I noticed there weren’t many options that felt both approachable and enjoyable, especially products that focused on natural ingredients and unique flavor combinations. What started as my personal health journey after my breakup eventually grew into a passion for helping others on their wellness journeys as well.
In 2024, I founded The Pink Cold Pressed Juicery with the goal of making healthier choices more accessible, enjoyable, and affordable. Today, I offer cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, sea moss products, and other health-focused options while continuing to educate myself and grow the business. My mission is to show people that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated—it can start with small, intentional choices that fit into everyday life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been building a business from the ground up while learning an entirely new industry. From understanding permits, regulations, and commercial kitchen requirements to balancing business ownership with working another job, there have been many obstacles along the way. I’ve also had to navigate the financial challenges that come with launching a small business, including investing in equipment, ingredients, marketing, and vendor opportunities while being mindful of my budget. Relocating to Austin while still wanting to build a presence in my hometown of Houston has added another layer of complexity. Despite these challenges, each experience has taught me something valuable and pushed me to keep going. Every partnership, event, and new opportunity reminds me why I started The Pink Cold Pressed Juicery in the first place—to make healthier options more accessible and inspire others to prioritize their wellness.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the owner of The Pink Cold Pressed Juicery, a wellness-focused business that specializes in fresh cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, sea moss products, natural hydration options, and other health-conscious products. My goal is to make healthy living feel more accessible, enjoyable, and affordable for everyday people. I am known for creating unique flavor combinations that make wellness exciting while still using quality ingredients and focusing on overall health and nutrition.
What I am most proud of is turning a personal health journey into a growing business that allows me to help others. What started as me making juices for myself has evolved into a brand with a mission to encourage healthier lifestyle choices within my community. I believe what sets me apart is my commitment to creating products that are both beneficial and enjoyable, while building genuine relationships with my customers. I want people to feel welcomed into their wellness journey, regardless of where they are starting, and I strive to create products that make healthy choices feel attainable rather than overwhelming.
What’s next?
My future plans for The Pink Cold Pressed Juicery are centered around growth, community, and accessibility. In the short term, I plan to continue expanding through pop-up events, farmers markets, gym partnerships, and collaborations with other wellness-focused businesses. I would love to build relationships with fitness centers, run clubs, health professionals, and wellness brands that share a similar mission of helping people live healthier lives. Long-term, my goal is to open a brick-and-mortar location that serves as more than just a juice bar. I envision it becoming a welcoming wellness hub where people can access fresh juices, sea moss products, healthy snacks, and resources that support a healthier lifestyle. I am excited to continue growing the brand, reaching more communities, and making wellness feel approachable, enjoyable, and attainable for everyone.
