Hi Quin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always loved helping people feel beautiful and confident. My journey actually started with makeup, and after graduating high school in 2016, I went straight to esthetician school in Louisiana. Once I graduated, I moved to Houston and started working for a large lash company, where I gained valuable experience and worked my way up.
When COVID hit, I found myself out of work, so I took a leap of faith and started my own business, Sprinkle Me Lashes. What started as a lash business quickly grew into so much more. I began adding waxing, facials, brows, and other beauty services, eventually rebranding to Sprinkle Me Aesthetics. I started my business from my apartment, and through hard work and consistency, I was able to move into my very first salon suite in Cypress.
Along the way, I worked several jobs in the beauty industry, and each one taught me something that helped me build the business I have today. As my business continued to grow, I discovered another passion I never expected, teaching. I started offering lash and wax training classes, and my waxing courses especially helped take my business to the next level. Being able to teach others, watch them gain confidence, and see them start successful beauty businesses of their own has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
My “why” has always been helping people. Whether it’s through beauty services that make someone feel more confident or through education that gives someone the opportunity to change their life, I love being a part of that journey. Seeing my students build careers and become successful business owners reminds me why I started in the first place and motivates me to keep going every day.
Today, I’m continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I’m currently in school pursuing nursing because my long-term goal is to turn Sprinkle Me Aesthetics into a full medical spa. I believe there’s always room to learn and evolve, and I’m excited for what’s ahead while continuing to empower both my clients and my students every step of the way.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced plenty of obstacles throughout this journey. There were times when I had to work other jobs in the beauty industry just to make ends meet. While I’m thankful for those opportunities, I sometimes felt like they took time and energy away from building my own business. Financially, it wasn’t always easy, and there were moments when I questioned if I could keep going.
There were times I wanted to throw in the towel, but every time I thought about giving up, I just couldn’t. My business has always been my passion, and I never felt as fulfilled working for someone else. Deep down, I knew this was what I was meant to do.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an esthetician and the owner of Sprinkle Me Aesthetics. I specialize in beauty services including facials, body waxing, lash extensions, brow services, and skincare. I also train aspiring beauty professionals through my lash and waxing courses, helping them build the skills and confidence to start their own businesses. My goal is to help people not only look and feel beautiful, but also create opportunities for others to build successful careers in the beauty industry.
What does success mean to you?
I think everyone’s definition of success is different. For me, success isn’t just about money or reaching a certain level in business. Success is achieving the goals that align with your purpose and what you’re truly passionate about. It’s waking up every day excited about what you do, knowing you’re using the talents God gave you to make a difference.
To me, success is being able to do what I love while helping others along the way. Whether that’s making someone feel more confident through beauty services or teaching someone a skill that changes their life, that’s what success looks like to me. If you’re living in your purpose, continuously growing, and making a positive impact, then I believe you’re successful.
