Hi Roosevelt, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
First off, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to bless me with a passion to inspire others to be great. I started this journey of becoming a filmmaker and event producer by believing in myself and networking with individuals that just wanted to win. It took consistency, hard work and dedication to make it to where I’m at today and I will continue to keep it going. The goal is to inspire and spark the minds of everyone that supports the FNO Productions and FNO Event Culture brand to create a vision of their own.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. It’s extremely tough building a brand. It takes hard work and a lot of grit building a strong team and finding individuals that are on the same frequency as you are. Some individuals don’t want it as bad as you do and it creates conflict. It takes years to find a solid team to build with. That’s been my struggle along the way but the team I’ve built thus far is amazing. I love each and every one of them. A huge compliment to the brand.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
FNO Productions LLC & FNO Event Culture – We specialize in Film, Photography and event planning & event management, FNO Productions is an award-winning film production company for Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, Weddings and so much more.
FNO Event Culture – provides a platform for artists such as Comedians, Poets, and Live musicians for over 5 years based in Florida and now relocated to Houston, Texas. A platform for greatness in any community. Active in the Community is the slogan. I’m proud that we do what we love and provide a platform for individuals to be great and what sets us apart from others is that we have our own vision for the Community and live to inspire the culture to chase their dreams relentlessly no matter what roadblocks they may experience. It’s only a test to see if you are committed to the life that you envision for yourself.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the film industry and the event industry continuing to reach new heights in the next 5-10 years with the new generation amongst us, we live in a creative space where we have so many creators on the rise and it will cause a huge positive shift in the industry. The next 5-10 years will be extraordinary for all creatives.
