Hi Rose, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began this journey when God put it on my heart to trust Him with His oils and natural ingredients. I decided to ditch the toxins and chemicals and go completely natural with my skincare. Once I made that change, I immediately noticed how my skin began to glow and heal, and I knew I was being led to create something bigger — something that could bless others, too.
That’s how Age Gracefully was born — out of faith, passion, and a desire to help women care for their skin the natural way. Every product is handcrafted in small batches using organic, cold-pressed oils, plant-based ingredients, and essential oils that nourish, restore, and bring balance to the skin. There are no toxins, no harsh chemicals — just pure, honest skincare made with love and prayer.
I truly believe that when we care for our skin with what God created, we see the difference — not only on the outside, but in how we feel about ourselves. Age Gracefully Beauty is a reminder that beauty has no age limit and that we can glow gracefully at every stage of life.
Today, I’m grateful to share these products at local markets, boutiques, and online, meeting so many wonderful customers who support and believe in natural beauty. This journey has been faith-led from the beginning, and I’m thankful every day for the opportunity to help others love the skin they’re in — naturally and gracefully.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest obstacles I faced was stepping out on faith and trusting the process. When I first started Age Gracefully. I didn’t have a background in business or skincare formulation — just a passion, a vision, and faith that God would guide me. There were moments of doubt, times when I questioned if I was doing the right thing, and challenges with learning everything from sourcing quality ingredients to labeling, packaging, and getting my products into people’s hands.
Another struggle was getting people to understand the value of natural skincare. We live in a world where so many products are filled with chemicals and quick fixes, so educating customers about clean, toxin-free ingredients took time and patience.
But through prayer, perseverance, and a lot of trial and error, I kept going. Every challenge became a lesson and every obstacle helped me grow stronger — in both business and faith. Looking back, I can truly say that every setback was a setup for what God was preparing me for with Age Gracefully Skincare.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout my life, I’ve owned and managed other businesses, but Age Gracefully is truly special because it comes straight from my heart and my faith. I’ve always believed in creating something meaningful — something that makes a difference in people’s lives. This business is not just about skincare; it’s about purpose, wellness, and encouraging others to love the skin they’re in.
What sets Age Gracefully apart is the intention behind every product. Each formula is handcrafted with prayer, patience, and pure ingredients — organic, toxin-free, and made in small batches to ensure quality and care. I don’t rush the process because I believe skincare should be made with the same love and integrity that we give to our own bodies.
My brand also stands out because it’s rooted in faith and authenticity. I take time to connect personally with my customers, listen to their stories, and educate them about the power of natural skincare. I want every person who uses my products to feel valued, confident, and reminded that beauty truly begins with self-care and gratitude.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My biggest advice for anyone starting out or trying to grow is to trust God’s timing and surround yourself with people who genuinely believe in you. When I first started Age Gracefully, I didn’t have a mentor in skincare or business — I had faith. I prayed for guidance and the right people began to show up at the right time. Sometimes your mentors aren’t always official — they’re the people God places in your path who encourage, teach, and inspire you along the way.
For networking, I always remind others to show up and be genuine. Go to markets, community events, and pop-ups not just to sell, but to connect. Be kind, support other small businesses, and share your story — that’s how real relationships are built. I’ve met some of the most amazing people just by stepping out of my comfort zone and starting conversations.
And most importantly, never be afraid to ask questions or seek help. We grow when we learn from one another. Stay humble, stay open, and let your purpose lead your path — the right connections will always follow.
