Today we’d like to introduce you to Ruby Dinh.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up I always enjoyed drawing and when I immigrated to the United States with my family I began putting that love of drawing to work as a nail artist.
After becoming a U.S. citizen and after helping my own family run a nail salon I decided to strike out on my own and start my own business.
Thus La Petite Nail Salon was born!
I have since enjoyed building up my business and the freedoms that come with being my own boss. I am truly living the American dream and am very grateful to my family and my clients for all their support and love over the years!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting from scratch with almost zero clientele was definitely a challenge and to make matters worse three months after I officially started the business the COVID lockdowns began.
While that did put a damper on things it forced me to adapt and learn to utilize social media to bring in new clients despite the challenging times.
Through those hardships I built up a loyal clientele base who got me through those trying times and are still with me today.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I predominately specialize in acrylic nail maintenance and artwork.
I am known for my quality work that does not require frequent return trips to maintain.
In addition, I pride myself on being able to customize my clients nail designs to their liking. Whether it is cute seasonal designs for the holidays or for more detailed designs based off something my client shows me I strive to always exceed expectations.
