Today we’d like to introduce you to Taneisha Styner
Hi Taneisha , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my first business named after my daughter Aalyah. The business was called Aalyahsklozet. I started the company for something positive that my daughter and I could work on together and build. I realized that it was more so my dream and not my daughter’s dream. She wasn’t really into it. I knew I wanted to have a clothing boutique but felt like something was missing. I prayed to God asking him if this is for me and he said yes! God gave me the new idea to launch a clothing business that glorified him. I was so excited when I received confirmation and proud to say I’m relaunching and dropping my new business called Jesus Brand next year in 2025. Everyone please be on the look out.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was a struggle to start all over again. You put so much effort, time and money into your business and to shut everything down to start over was very challenging. Then I said to myself it’s very worth it. Creating a brand to put out in the world to bring people closer to God is so worth doing. Saving souls is the most important thing to me in the world and I believe God has sent me on this assignment to do so.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Treasury Project Partner at a Bank.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Believing in yourself and your abilities is the building block for all other success-attaining personality traits. Being confident gives you the courage to pursue your passion and to try new things. If you want to reach your goals, it helps to care a lot about what you’re doing.
