Set inside a bar, The Usual features three bold voices who bring real conversations to life—raw, uncut, and straight from the gut.
🎙️ THE CAST BEHIND THE CHAOS
Delano (Houston) — Your bartender for the night. R&B singer, vocal producer, and smooth-talking smartass with a shaker in one hand and some smart a** comment waiting to come out of his mouth. He’s light-skinned and thinks he knows it all.
Chez (Houston) — The sh**-talker. An independent artist and producer with over a decade in the game. Loud, opinionated, and wildly unfiltered, Chez brings the wild cards and calls out the BS every time and will almost always take it too far.
DJ Nobrakezzzz (Milwaukee) — The DJ and the culture plug. With 10+ years spinning and a rising media brand (Nobrakezzzz) under his belt, he keeps the crew’s convo locked into what’s trending, what’s real, and what needs to be said.
Together, they serve that fly-on-the-wall experience—real convos about women, dating, music, sports, social issues, and whatever’s going viral. If you didn’t know them, you’d think they were beefing… but the brotherhood runs deep.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Man, nothing about this was easy. Starting anything from scratch always comes with that cloud of doubt—“Is this gonna hit?”, “Do we have the time, the energy, the budget?” And let’s be real, nobody likes to talk about the money side, but it’s always there. Mics, cameras, sets, editing—it all adds up.
But that’s where having a solid team matters. You gotta have alignment. All three of us came in with a shared vision, and that’s what kept us locked in. We’re friends first, but we’re also professionals. We knew if we focused on the bigger picture and stayed consistent, we could build something that didn’t just sound good, but felt like the culture.
This ain’t just a podcast—it’s a real extension of how we move, how we think, and how we kick it in real life. That’s what makes it The Usual.

What sets us apart is authenticity—this is real chemistry, real opinions, and real-life bar talk that people relate to but rarely get to hear out loud. We’re not trying to be politically correct or go viral for the sake of it. We’re just being us, and people feel that.
The setup alone makes us different. We’re literally at a bar. Delano’s the bartender, Chez is overly outspoken, DJ Nobrakezzzz is setting the vibe—and the audience is like a fly on the wall hearing how guys really talk when the cameras aren’t supposed to be rolling.
We’re gonna be known for saying what most people won’t say, but everybody’s thinking. For representing the culture with honesty, humor, and heat. You’re gonna come for the laughs, stay for the debates, and keep coming back because you feel like you know us—and because no topic is off-limits.
